Water Purification Kit

Consists of 2 x 125ml bottles classic Chlorine Dioxide Liquid 1:1 Kit:

• Part A: 125ml 22.4% Sodium Chlorite (NaClO2)
• Part B: 4.5% Hydrochloric Acid Activator (HCI)

Chlorine Dioxide is generated when equal drops from each kit are mixed.  Part A contains Sodium Chlorite at 22.4% and is activated using Part B Hydrochloric Acid at 4.5%.

Does not need to be refrigerated and has a long shelf life of up to 3-4 years if kept in a cool dark place.

At AquaDetox, we take quality seriously and source only the highest quality ingredients.  We only use distilled water - and not tap or bottled water like most suppliers.  Although we produce our product in food grade, BPA free HDPE bottles, we recommend glass bottles for long term storage.

Usage:

Use one drop of Activator (HCI) for every one drop of Sodium Chlorite (NaClO2)

Use 1 activated drop for to 1 litre of water.

Benefits

There are many benefits to adding chlorine dioxide to water. Since, the mid 1900’s, public water treatment plants have used chlorine dioxide to kill a variety of waterborne pathogens. The CDC has also stated specifically that Chlorine Dioxide is used to make drinking water safe. When added to drinking water in accurate amounts, it helps destroy viruses, bacteria and some types of parasites that can make people sick, such as Giardia lamblia and Cryptosporidium parvum.

Chlorine Dioxide, when mixed with water will release a highly active form of oxygen which acts as a strong oxidant and antimicrobial agent. Adding appropriate measurements of Chlorine Dioxide to water will help neutralise any unpleasant tastes and will not discolour the water.
